Motor power calculator
Calculate motor power, voltage, or current. Single or three phase.
How to use this tool
- 1
Pick phase
Single phase or three phase.
- 2
Enter any 2 of V, I, P
We compute the third.
- 3
Include efficiency
Real motors lose 5-15% to heat.
Frequently Asked Questions
Single phase formula
P = V × I × PF × η (watts). PF = power factor (0.8-0.95 typical). η = efficiency.
Three phase formula
P = √3 × V × I × PF × η. The √3 factor is ≈ 1.732. Uses line voltage and line current.
